Leah & Paul | Married!

Looking back at these pictures, you would think that Leah and Paul’s wedding was held in the dead of winter. However, they were actually married at the end of March in Evanston, IL. Typical to Chicago you never know what to expect regarding the weather. The day earlier it was sunny and sixty, the following day was pretty nice as well. But what I love about our Chicago couples is they never let the weather get in the way of having a great time.

Leah and Paul are really amazing people. They are so warm and kind. They seem to be a perfect fit and the love they share is very complimentary and supportive. Their ceremony held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church was humorous, emotional, and moving. I would describe myself as spiritual but not necessarily religious and often times the tradition of a religious ceremony goes over my head but I was genuinely captivated by their service and will always remember how poignant it was. Their reception was nothing short of fabulous too. Leah spent a lot of time making sure all the little details were perfect and it really showed. The Venutis banquet hall was meticulously decorated and so elegant.

Greetings! This is my first post on the blog and I’m thrilled to post some preview shots of my first Seattle wedding! I moved to the Pacific Northwest from Metro Detroit back in December and I’ve tried my best to get a lot of the touristy things-to-do out of the way. Little did I know that my first visit inside the Space Needle in Seattle would be for shooting a wedding! Pamela and David held their ceremony and reception at the Skyline Level, which provided a nearly 360-degree view of downtown Seattle and a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier. I’ll definitely be posting more from their day soon! Thank you Pamela and David for allowing me to document your wedding. It was truly an absolute pleasure and an honor to do so. Hope you two are having fun on your honeymoon!

Nicole & Tim | Sneak Peak!

I’m so psyched to be posting a Portland wedding! Well at least a sneak peak of one anyways. We’ve been here since November and seem to be shooting everywhere but home. Nicole and Tim’s wedding on Saturday was a great way to get our feet wet in our new town. They got ready at the Hotel Vintage Plaza and had an amazing first look on Broadway Street in the heart of Portland’s downtown. From there we hit the spectacular Peninsula Park Rose Gardens and scenic Mt. Tabor. Then their reception was held in one of my favorite neighborhoods, the Alberta Arts District, at the Acadian Ballroom. There will definitely be a lot more come from this wedding. It was so awesome. A couple so in love and made for each other, a crazy fun bridal party, and a beautiful celebration. Thank you Nicole and Tim for entrusting us with the huge honor of capturing your day. It means the world to us. Congratulations and have a blast in Mexico!
