This crowd definitely knows how to dance. Once the lights dimmed low and the music started this ballroom was rocking. It was completely infectious and a little bit unexpected. I know I had a great time capturing these moments.

Steven and Jenine were married at Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington, IL. The same venue were we shot Jamie & Joe’s wedding earlier in the year. I’ve said it before, but I really love being a wedding photographer because no event is ever the same no matter if we’ve shot a venue once or a dozen times. A huge part of my excitement comes from the anticipation of seeing our couple pour their hearts and souls into the design of their day. Jenine & Steven filled their space with elegant details and lots of red roses. They were also our first couple who’s ceremony was moved indoors due to weather. They didn’t bat an eye because all that mattered to them was that they were getting married. These two are a beautiful couple, considerate and genuine. We know they’ll be so happy together.
