[Studio Session with Chicago Yelp's Colleen C.] Chicago Portait Photographers – Continuum Photography

Do you Yelp? I got started Yelping back in mid 2006 in Seattle. I wish I could say it had been wonderful service that led me to start reviewing in the first place like some have, but unfortunately that was not the case. Yelp like any online review site is to be taken with a grain of salt, and I’m just as guilty as the rest of the extreme love or extreme hate reviewers out there. I used to think I was a pretty casual reviewer, but apparently I have a lot more reviews than the average user. Of course this may also be due in part to the large number of silly reviews I post on establishments such as fast food joints or convenience stores… I mean really, how good can it possibly get? While I haven’t delved too much into the Yelp community in terms of participation in Yelp events (I did actually photograph one awhile back), I have gotten to meet Colleen C., the official Chicago Yelp Ambassador. If you’re wondering what a Yelp Ambassador is, well they are the party coordinating geniuses behind all of the events that Yelp promotes. They also write a bunch of newsletter type notifications and set the example in reviewing all sorts of places. Colleen happens to be completely sweet and vibrant, and was easily coerced into sitting for me some studio fun.
