We had the privilege to photograph Ela & Lar’s wedding at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) last August. They are terrific people and pretty darn photogenic. We shot some of our favorite images ever at their wedding. Lucky for us, one of them made it into Chicago’s super swanky wedding magazine, Chicago Social Brides. Here’s a little preview.

Raffaello Hotel & Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art Wedding | Ela & Lars, Pt. 1

Ela and Lars were married earlier this summer at Chicago’s MCA. Their wedding oozed of romance and class not to mention it was visually stunning! A Stem Above is responsible for all the beautiful floral design including the bouquets, corsages and table-scapes at the MCA reception. We were so thrilled to be part of their awesome day.
We begin with Ela and Lars getting ready at Raffaello Hotel in separate rooms. Once everyone was dressed and ready they met on the rooftop deck for a dramatic “first look.”

Chicago summer nights that actually are pretty mild in comparison to past summers, fun couples, walking around taking photos… I guess what I’m trying to say here is that my job really isn’t that bad. Anyhow since their wedding is just in a couple of days I thought I’d better get up some of these engagement highlights STAT. See you in a few days guys!
