Maura and Brian’s wedding was so much fun! I recently finished their album design and I was smiling the whole time. M&B have this infectiously fun and silly energy and it just rubbed off on everyone attending their reception. The reception held at the Floosmoor Country Club had some of the most awesome details I’ve seen all year. They had a sweet table with all sorts of candy confections in their wedding colors. They also had a super cool “guest book” where their guest wrote notes to them on quilting squares that would be made into a keepsake later. The royal blue and fuchsia color scheme that was most apparent on the bridesmaids dress just popped and made the photos all the more vibrant. I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I do.

A couple of months ago (months?… yikes) we were fortunate enough to photograph Maura and Brian’s wedding. To say we’ve been busy is a vast understatement as evident in our sad lack of blog updates. But we promise as the season winds to a close that we will get back on track posting highlights of all of the awesome weddings we’ve had the opportunity to shoot this year. Merry Christmas everyone! Wait it’s almost the end of February?? Yes… I am way behind in blogging as mentioned previously. Way back in December we took Maura and Brian out on what turned out to be one of the dark rain/snow mix sort of day. Not exactly ideal engagement photo weather by any means, but we made the most of it!

From November 27th to December 24th, Christkindlmarket is going on in Chicago and the expensive apple cider alone is worth checking out.

We had actually started out at Borders, since Maura and Brian are voracious readers. Unfortunately about as quick as I could pull the camera out we were told not to take any photos inside Borders. Borders either hates love or has a lot of sensitive documents to homeland security in it. We were so depressed we needed ice cream.

You can tell we were on a real health food kick, and decided to stop for some of Maura’s favorite.

We finally found a book place that wasn’t going to kick us out.
